Post Event - "Italian Mountain Night", Shanghai, 29 October 2020

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

The China-italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to inform that the “Mountain Lifestyle, Italy: A Dream Country for Mountain Lovers” was successfully held on 29th October at Solo X, in Shanghai. The event has been organized by the Sport and Tourism Working Group of CICC with the patronage of Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, Italian Trade Agency, Lombardia Region, In Lombardia, Associazione Lombardi in Cina, Nuova Lizzola, Turismo Valbondione and Visit Bergamo. The Italian Mountain Night is an event dedicated to Italian winter mountain lifestyle and it highlights how Italian mountains offer more than sport, but a rich heritage passed down through millennia of history and culture.

Starting from 18:30 pm, after enjoying the screening of a short inspirational video about Milano Cortina 2026 Candidate City Olympic Winter Games, the event was opened by the welcoming speech delivered by Mr Remigio Brunelli – CICC Board Member – who warmly introduced the topic of the event. To follow, Mr. Bartolomeo Lamonarca (Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai), Mr. Lorenzo Riccardi (CICC Board Member), Mr. Tommaso Lazzari (Associazione Lombardi in Cina) and Mr. Yang Xiaochun (Italy from Chinese’s eyes, Travel Publisher and Columnist) all spoke in turn about the Italian winter mountain lifestyle as a reason of experience and destination.

Then after the speeches, a short Ski Show organized by Snow51 Instructors was successfully held, giving also guests the opportunity to try a skiing experience with foreigners and local coaches in the heart of Shanghai.

After the show and skiing experience, guests, the delegation, entrepreneurs and partecipants joined the Networking with Buffet Dinner, exploring the many flavors of the Italian Wine and Beer that our Sponsor offered.
