General Manager

International leading company in engineering and manufacturing of positive displacement pumps and fluidics systems for the automotive, medical, foodservice and industrial fields is looking to hire a General Manager for its manufacturing plant based in Shanghai.

Reporting to the MD, the GM has P&L responsibility for China factory operations.

The GM will be expected to drive profitable growth through strong focus on business development operational excellence and strong leadership.

In this role, the successful candidate will:

• lead the definition and deployment of a strategy designed to assure a strong and sustainable growth of the Company in the APAC area;
• Define and deploy short and long-term goals together with the MD;
• Ensure execution of the strategy
• Ensure that current processes and procedures are robust, optimized and fit for purpose;
• Ensure overall delivery and quality of the offerings to customers;
• Assure coordination of factory certification processes including ongoing audits, updates and acquiring new certifications;
• Lead the team to deliver a culture of excellence inside of the factory while developing people and processes that drive continuous improvements;
