EU SME Annual Conference: How to Tackle a Changing China

Dear Members,

The CICC is glad to promote the EU SME Annual Conference: How to Tackle a Changing China organized by the Inter-Chamber SME Working Group on Tuesday May 31st 2016.

China has entered a new phase defined as the “New Normal”. Its economy grew by 6.9% in 2015, the ages of “Double Digit Growth” have passed, now China needs to use capital and resources in a more efficient way in order to grow in a sustainable and balanced way. What are the expectations on China’s economy during this new era? What messages are transmitted through China Manufacturing 2025 and 13th Five-Year-Plan? What challenges do European and Chinese businesses, and in particular SMEs have in China? In order to place this new era of transformation into context, in particular, tackling on SMEs, this conference will highlight and explain the major changes that China is currently undergoing, also the implications for European SMEs in China. Join executives from European SMEs from a diverse range of industries, European embassies and Chinese think tanks in the discussions that this conference will offer on tackling a changing China.
