Doing Business in China, Politecnico di Milano, April 27th-28th 2017_Post Event

Dear Members and Friends of CICC,

On the occasion of the visit of the Politecnico di Milano, in China in the framework of the "Doing Business in China" EMBA, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce organized two days of activities for the delegation and the candidates.

On April 27th, the CICC organized a one-day trip to Tianjin, where candidates visited 2 Italian companies, Flexbo e Goglio and lunched at Venezia Club, an "Italian Hospitality Certified" Italian restaurant in the heart of the Italian Concession. Candidates saw production lines and met both companies’ representatives, engaging in informative talks about local market opportunities and growth strategies.

On April 28th, a seminar was held at Spazio Italia in Beijing to introduce the Politecnico Alumni to the "Made in China 2025" plan and to offer them the chance to participate in a panel discussion on the business opportunities in China.

The event started with the opening speeches of Prof. Lucio Lamberti, Director of International Relations at MIP - Politecnico di Milano and CICC Chairman Sergio Bertasi.

​It was then the turn of Guido D. Giacconi, Co-founder and Chairman of In3Act, Board Members of CICC, who introduced the study "Made in China 2025 Unveiled", explaining the characteristics of the plan to the Alumni. The event then continued with a panel discussion chaired by Prof. Lucio Lamberti involving the speakers and Davide Cucino, Chairman Fincantieri, Marco Gasparroni, Head Greater China Region, Exprivia Group, CICC Vice Chairman, followed by a Q&A session.

About 70 guests attended the event, which was then followed by a dinner for the Politecnico di Milano Alumni at Xihe Village Restaurant.
