In the fight against climate change, China has announced to peak its CO2 emissions before 2030 and achieve "carbon neutrality" before 2060.
China's commitment to the environment is well intertwined with Italy's commitment to a future of environmental sustainability. Our country boasts world-leading companies able to offer quality and high technology to support the ecological transition.
To reaffirm its commitment to these issues and as a strategic partner of the Green and Low-Carbon International Cooperation Committee, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) participated in the Founding Conference of CCCME Green and Low-Carbon International Cooperation Committee and the 1st Carbon Neutrality International Cooperation Forum, held on October 27th 2021 in Beijing.
The event, organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Machinery & Electronic Products (CCCME), had “The International Cooperation Opportunities and Challenges in the Context of Carbon Neutrality” as its theme.
The conference was attended by Mr Matteo Tanteri, CICC Vice Chairman & CEO and Chairman of SNAM China, and Ms Giulia Gallarati, CICC Secretary General.
Among the participants, there were also some CICC members, including China General Technology (Group) Holding Co, Ltd. and Baker Hughes.

Up to now, CCCME boasts of more than 10,000 member enterprises involved in R&D, manufacturing, circulationand trade of mechanical and electrical products.
