Dear Members,
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CICC) is pleased to report that on February 22nd 2019 it was held at the Beijing Italian Institute of Culture the Elective General Assembly and, after that, the opening of the new CICC office inside the Sanlitun Diplomatic Residence Compound.
The Elective General Assembly started at 9.30 in the morning with the warm welcome of Emanuele De Maigret, Minister Counselor and Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Italian Embassy in Beijing.
Subsequently Amedeo Scarpa, Director and Coordinator of Rete ICE - Italian trade Agency China and Mongolia- has presented the ITA promotional program.
Then Davide Cucino, CICC Chairman, has introduced the report regarding the year 2018-2019, recalling the attention to the main activities of 2018 and presenting a first scheduling regarding the activities planned for 2019. He expressed his gratitude to the CICC Team, the Working Groups and to the members of the Chamber, encouraging all to keep working with the same enthusiasm and dedication.
La parola è stata poi data a Lorenzo Riccardi, CICC Treasurer, che ha esposto la sua analisi sul rendiconto finanziario ed il bilancio preventivo.
Giulia Gallarati, Secretary General of CICC, presented the plan regarding the activities carried out during 2018, in particular about information, promotional, business networking, services and delegations, but also the projects for 2019.
During the ceremony Emanuele De Maigret, Minister Counselor and Head of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Italian Embassy in Beijing, has been nominated as Head of the Board of Probiviri.
The Elective General Assembly ended with the voting for the approval of 2018 final balance, which has been verified by the external auditors. A voting was also held for the following offices as well: Board of Auditors and Probiviro.
The following candidates have been elected:
Board of Auditors: Wang Shutong - Zhongrui Yuehua Tax Advisory Co., Ltd. and Feng Demi - Beijing B&D Law Firm.
Probiviro: Antonello Fabio, REGINA (Tianjin) CHAIN & BELT Co., Ltd.
At the end our members, friends and all the guests moved to the Sanlitun Dipomatic Residence Compound to celebrate the opening of our new office, which has been inaugurated by the Ambassador of Italy in PRC, Ettore Francesco Sequi, and by the CICC Chairman, Davide Cucino. The Ambassador took the chance to underline the importance of the close relations between the Embassy and the Chamber of Commerce, which is a fundamental interlocutor regarding the economic and commercial initiatives carried out in the entire nation.
