Post-event: Interchamber Seminar on Cybersecurity Law in China, May 31st 2018

Dear CICC Members and Friends,

 

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with

  • BENCHAM Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China,
  • DCCC Danish Chamber of Commerce in China,
  • the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China,
  • the German Chamber of Commerce in China - North China,
  • Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce
  • the EU SME Centre

has organized the first “Interchamber Seminar on Cybersecurity Law in China”. The event was successfully held on May 31st at Regent hotel and more than 50 participants attended the seminar.

 

    

 

All guests were welcomed with small refreshments before the beginning of the seminar, which was opened by the event’s moderator Mr. Marco Gasparroni, Head Greater China Region Exprivia and CICC’s Member, followed by a short thank you speech by Ms. Jana Kumpf, German Chamber Deputy Manager. The first speaker Mr. Anson Chen, Manager Risk-Cyber Security, China at EY, gave an overview of the cybersecurity law and its implementation, while Mr. Vincent Guo, Manager Risk-Cyber Security, China at EY, followed up focusing on the relevant requirements of the law.

  

                         

 

After a short coffee break Mr. Marco Gasparroni moderated the panel discussion featuring the two speakers and two more experts, Mr. Daniel Albrecht, German attorney at law and Managing Counsel of Starke, and Mr. Samuel Yang, PRC licensed lawyer with AnJie Law Firm, who took some points further for discussion. Moreover, some attendees participated to the panel discussion with some questions related to their business fields.
