POST EVENT - The Startup & Ecosystem Mixer , May 28th

The CICC Guangzhou is glad to inform that the Startup & Ecosystem Mixer event was successfully performed on May 28th in Shenzhen.

The 5 Italian finalists startups  FLOOME, HEXAGRO, ORTHOPONICS, VERANU, WENDA arrived on 28th morning at the Sino-Finnish Design Park in Shenzhen where they have been welcomed by the general manager of SFDP, Ms. Fu.

After an introduction of the SFDP Showroom, the Italian guests had the opportunity to visit some of the companies located inside the SINO-FINNISH DESIGN PARK.

The afternoon was dedicated to the presentation of the 5 startups to the Chinese audience. At the pitching event attended Miss Rubini, Deputy Consul of Italy in Guangzhou, Mr. Cucino, President of the China Italy Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Stella, Senior associate P&P. After their welcome speeches, the 5 startups introduced successfully their own projects to the audience.

Mr. Sanna, Co-founder & executive chairman of VERANU, who presented a smart floor which converts each step into clean electricity (https://veranu.eu/)

In the evening a Networking Cocktail was organized at Four Points by Sheraton. It has been another informal occasion for the 5 start-upper to present their projects to the selected audience among the Guangdong network by the CICC of Guangzhou.

The entire event was part of the STARTIT.asia program, born from the collaboration between the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao, China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by Intesa Sanpaolo, People & Projects Limited, and the Innovative Enterprise Incubator of the Politecnico of Torino (I3P).
