Chef Akmal Anuar, one of the leading head chef of the World’s 50 Best Restaurant will be combining forces with The Ritz Carlton, Beijing residence Italian Chef De Cuisine, Amedeo Ferri to present to Beijing food lovers from April 14th to 16th, the rare opportunity to savour infusion of exotic Asian blends to the traditional Italian cuisines at Barolo.
Singaporean born Chef Akmal started his culinary journey at an early age, helping out his parent’s hawker stall, which inspired him to be a Chef. His passion on food brought him to travel around the world, searching for the perfect balance palate of Singapore, China, Japan and Europe infused dishes, delighting customers with new dining experiences.
Chef Akmal won the award of Worlds 50 Best restaurant San Pellegrino from 2009 to 2012, Asia ranked top 1 in 2012 when he was head chef of Iggy’s restaurant; ranked No. 1 of Miele Guide from 2010 to 2012; he moved to Dubai in 2014 and opened his own restaurant 3fils in 2017, and it had been awarded with the Best New Opening Restaurant by Time Out Dubai.
Chef Akmal’s creativity, experience and passion for food enable him to create new menu and exciting delicacies. Diners will be treated to a refined blend of culinary traditions with Chef Akmal exquisite dishes like Edible Stones, Oysters, Foie Gras, Octopus, Wagyu Beef, which are all included in 5-Course set lunch and 7-course set dinner menu.
