Enit (Italian State Tourist Board) 

Enit (Italian State Tourist Board) has settled a desk - Observatory - at China-Italy Chamber of Commerce since 2000 supported by Chinese staff and, in 2008, with Italian’s too.
The operation’s core is to analyze the current market situation and promote Italy’s image and its overall tourism products. Cooperation with all the Italian Authorities in China is a fundamental approach to promote Italy as a brand for tourism. Therefore, in order to increase Chinese tourists to Italy, since 2003 Italian State Tourist Board and Ministry of Foreign Affairs signed an agreement in which ENIT will provide some staff (15 people) to the Italian Visa Offices in China (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou) supporting related offices to issue tourist visas.
Events in China, exhibitions in China and Italy, co-marketing promotion with Chinese tour operators, marketing meetings, assistance and consulting services to Italian tourism enterprises are part of our job to develop the Italian tourism in China and create solid basis to future investments by Italian tourist entrepreneurs.
