
INNOVA
INNOVA, Regional Centre of Competence for Development and Transfer of Innovation for Cultural and Environmental Heritage, was established in 2003 thanks to Campania region and to part of the network of regional public research, working in the field of cultural and environmental heritage. This network joins researchers belonging to all technical/scientific areas involved in the development and transfer of innovation to cultural and environmental heritage.
INNOVA’s goal is to connect supply and demand for innovation, to develop new approaches, methodologies and tools in order to promote the conservation of cultural and environmental heritage, taking into account the needs expressed by both firms and end users.
The CRdC aims to:

co-ordinate, integrate and optimise the human and technological resources available within the academic and research world in order to promote innovation in the field of the safeguarding and exploitation of cultural and environmental heritage through the making up of a range of “demand-driven”, oriented towards innovation services

turn the opportunities offered by the market into business and stimulate the birth of firms and academic spin-offs

monitor supply and demand for innovation in its own filed, supplying to both public and private sectors the required technology transfer solutions;

anticipate the need for innovation expressed by businesses, including operating with a technology push approach

activate synergies to stimulate interaction between public sector, academic world and firms with the objective of promoting the growth of knowledge and the incorporation of new technologies.
