We are officially calling for candidates for the elections of the Coordinator and Vice-Coordinator(s) of the Food & Beverage Working Group (FBWG).
The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that, on the occasion of the VIII Week of Italian Cuisine in the World 2023 (Settimana della Cucina nel Mondo 2023) dedicated to the theme “A tavola con la cucina italiana: il benessere Con Gusto – Dining with the Italian cuisine: well-being with taste”) we are launching a Call for Companies dedicated to Italian F&B companies that provide authentic Italian food and beverage and that are based in Southern China (Guangdong, Fujian, Hainan, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guangxi) to take part in the Italian Food Weekend 2023.
Following a vacancy for the Coordinator position before its planned term, Riccardo Budriesi (CEO at Marposs (Shanghai) Technologies Co., Ltd.), currently Vice-Coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG), will take over the Coordinator position.
We are, therefore, officially calling for candidates for the elections of one Vice-Coordinator of the Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG), preferably located in Suzhou.
23 October 2023 marked the return, after a three-year wait, of the 15th Suzhou Appreciation Meeting, boasting the exceptional participation of H.E. Massimo Ambrosetti, Ambassador of Italy to the People’s Republic of China, who visited the Italian business community of Suzhou for the first time and met both Wu Qingwen, Deputy Party Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the CPC and Mayor of the Suzhou Municipal People's Government and Vice Mayor Tang Xiaodong.
The event, aimed at strengthening the commercial dialogue between Italian institutions and companies with the Suzhou authorities, as well as providing enhanced support for the development of Italian businesses in the Suzhou area, was organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Suzhou Municipal Government, the Embassy of Italy in Beijing, the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai and Italian Trade Agency (ITA). It counted 60 participants, including local and Italian authorities and companies rooted in the territory.
