On Tuesday, 27 January 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), in collaboration with its Human Resources Working Group (HRWG), successfully hosted its event “The Mat as a mirror: ego, growth and the art of learning about ourselves” at Technogym Office, in Shanghai.

Technogym company introduction delivered by Carol Weng, HR Manager at Technogym.
Keynote speech “The Mat as a mirror: ego, growth and the art of learning about ourselves” by Ferasse Tea, Director of Strategic Partnerships at SAE Relocation.
The seminar showed how sport, especially Brazilian JiuJitsu, reflects professional life by helping us manage ego, practice humility, and face challenges through continuous learning. Training on the mat becomes a way to grow personally and professionally by embracing problem-solving, adaptation, and even failure.
At the end of the seminar, attendees had the chance to enjoy a special training session organized by Technogym staff. Divided into three groups, participants were able to experience Technogym's training equipment firsthand, which is state-of-the-art equipment that utilizes AI to ensure the best support and performance for everyone.
