On 18 March 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), in cooperation with the Suqian Economic and Technological Development Area (SNETDA), successfully hosted the CCIC Shanghai Networking Event — Suqian Promotion Session at GioGiò Italian Restaurant in Shanghai.
The event brought together members of the international business community to explore investment opportunities and strengthen cooperation between Italian enterprises and Suqian.
The session opened with remarks from Cristina Corsini, Board Director of CCIC, and Tang Wen, Deputy Director of Suqian SNETDA, setting the stage for enhanced collaboration and economic exchange.
This was followed by a presentation on Suqian’s investment environment, highlighting the city’s strategic location within the Yangtze River Delta and Huaihai Economic Zone, as well as its growing industrial base and strong policy support for foreign investors.
Participants also gained insights into key industries such as new energy, food & beverage, and smart manufacturing, alongside the region’s advantages in logistics, infrastructure, and cost efficiency.
A key highlight of the evening was the networking session, where attendees engaged in discussions on practical collaboration opportunities, particularly in sectors such as FMCG and e-commerce, with the added perspective of platforms like JD.com supporting market expansion.
The event provided a valuable platform for building connections, sharing insights, and fostering future partnerships between international businesses and Suqian’s rapidly developing economic landscape.
