On March 23, 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) successfully hosted a Talk over Lunch with Paolo Gentiloni, Co-Chair of the United Nations High-Level Expert Group and former Prime Minister of Italy, at Calypso Mediterranean Restaurant in Shanghai.
The lunch was followed by a CCIC Eastern China Members’ Meeting, where the CCIC Business Sentiment Survey 2026 and CCIC activities were presented.
The event brought together 70 business leaders, entrepreneurs, and CCIC members from Italian and Chinese companies operating in China, offering a valuable platform for dialogue on global economic governance, international relations, multilateral and bilateral cooperation, current geopolitics, and the evolving international business environment.

CCIC Eastern China Members’ Meeting followed the formal lunch, starting with the presentation of CCIC Business Sentiment Survey 2026, presented by Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman of CCIC & CEO RsA Asia.
To conclude CCIC activities presentation by Fabio Lambertini, CCIC Vice-Chairman of Eastern China & CEO Ducati China.
In a professional yet welcoming atmosphere, participants had the opportunity to engage directly with Mr. Gentiloni, followed by a lively Q&A session and final remarks.
The survey reports offered a comprehensive overview of the business climate and outlook of Italian companies operating in China, highlighting key findings and priorities for the year ahead.
