On 2 March 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), with the support of the Suzhou Foreign Affairs Office and the Exit-Entry Administration Department of the Suzhou Public Security Bureau, successfully held the session “China’s ‘Five-Star Card’ Application Guidelines and Policy Interpretation” at Suzhou Office.
During the event, experts from the Exit-Entry Administration Department of the Suzhou Public Security Bureau provided a practical overview of China’s permanent residence policy, including eligibility criteria, required documents, application procedures, and key considerations. The session offered participants clear guidance to better prepare for and navigate the application process.
The Q&A session allowed attendees to raise specific questions related to work, family reunification, and long-term residence planning, fostering constructive dialogue between enterprises and local authorities.
Through this initiative, CCIC reaffirmed its commitment to supporting members with timely policy insights and practical guidance for their development in China.
