On September 23rd, 2026, the 2026 Chengdu Autumn Interchamber Mixer concluded successfully at the InterContinental Century City Chengdu. Hosted jointly by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), AmCham China·Southwest, British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China, China-Australia Chamber of Commerce West China, Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Southwest China Chapter of the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China, the gathering attracted more than 120 guests from across Chengdu’s international business community for an evening of networking, meaningful conversations and new connections.
Guests began arriving at 6:30 PM at the JinDing Room on the 6th floor of the InterContinental Century City Chengdu. Following check-in and the collection of dinner vouchers, guests gathered for photo moments at the event backdrop, marking the beginning of an evening of networking and connection.
The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) was actively involved: Massimo Bagnasco, Vice President of CCIC in the Southwest, represented the chamber at the gathering. In addition, CCIC organized a strong delegation of more than 40 attendees, composed of current members as well as prospective members.
The evening officially commenced with welcome remarks delivered by representatives of the six co-organizing chambers and InterContinental Century City Chengdu: Massimo Bagnasco (Vice President in Sotuhwest of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China), Jessica Wu (Executive Committee Member of the British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China), Dr. Clare McDermott (Chair of AmCham China Southwest Chapter), Bin Li (李彬) (Board Member and Treasurer of SwissCham Southwest), Haley Chen (General Manager of the Southwest China Chapter of the European Chamber), Andy Liu (Chair of China-Australia Chamber of Commerce West China), and Jinjin Jin (Regional General Manager, Sichuan, Chongqing & Tibet, Luxury & Lifestyle, Greater China, and General Manager of InterContinental Century City Chengdu).
A joint toast by representatives from all six chambers then symbolized unity and cross-cultural friendship within Chengdu’s vibrant international business community. Following the welcome remarks, guests enjoyed a buffet dinner and drinks while engaging in lively conversations, fostering connections and exploring opportunities for collaboration in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
