On 15 September 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), in cooperation with the Xiangcheng District Government, successfully held the Suzhou Xiangcheng District B2B Matching, bringing together Italian and Xiangcheng companies for an afternoon of exchange, company introductions and networking.
The event began with a visit to Cowin, guided by Mr. Ronnie Kuppens, Co-founder of Cowin High-Tech Development (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. Guests and participants toured the exhibition hall and office spaces, learning more about the site and its facilities.
Following the visit, opening remarks were delivered by Davide Angelibusi, Board Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, and Pu Weiying, Vice Mayor of the People's Government of Xiangcheng District, Suzhou. The remarks highlighted the importance of strengthening exchanges between Italian and Xiangcheng companies and creating opportunities for further cooperation. The event was also honoured by the presence of Hans Duisters, Chairman of Sioux Technologies (Netherlands).
Following the opening remarks, Giovanni Pisacane, Founder & Managing Partner of GWA ASIA, shared his experience of building and developing the business in Suzhou, offering participants a first-hand perspective on the local market and the opportunities it offers.
The event also included a presentation on Xiangcheng District, giving participating companies an overview of the local business environment, industrial development and opportunities for businesses in the area.
A key part of the afternoon was the exchange between Italian and Xiangcheng companies, with representatives introducing their businesses and areas of expertise. The session gave participants the opportunity to learn more about one another, exchange ideas and discover potential connections for future cooperation.
The evening continued on the terrace, with wine, conversations and the sunset. Participants enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere, taking the time to chat, connect and share a pleasant evening together.
CCIC would like to sincerely thank the Xiangcheng District Government for its cooperation and support in making the event possible, and Cowin High-Tech Development (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. for its support with the venue. We hope that the conversations and connections made during the day will continue beyond the event and create more opportunities for Italian and Xiangcheng companies to meet, exchange and explore cooperation in the future.
