On 8 April 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), together with the CCIC Young Professionals Network and in partnership with Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, successfully hosted the 2026 Career Talk in Suzhou.
The event aimed to support students in their transition into the professional world, offering valuable insights into career development, employability, and the expectations of international companies in China.
The session opened with welcome remarks, followed by a series of expert presentations. Lorenzo Bali shared key perspectives on what international companies in China expect from graduates in 2026, while Rosa Luo provided practical guidance on CV writing, interview preparation, and effective job search strategies.
Participants also gained insights into current job market trends from Denise Sordilli, with a focus on how students can enhance their employability in an increasingly competitive environment.
A key highlight of the event was the mock interview session, where students had the opportunity to experience real interview scenarios and receive direct feedback from industry professionals.
The event concluded with a networking session, allowing participants to connect with speakers and peers. Overall, the Career Talk provided a practical and engaging platform for students to develop confidence, gain industry insights, and better prepare for their future careers in China.
