On October 23, 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), with the support of the Jiaxing Nanhu District Government, successfully held a company visit to YTO SKYHUB at Jiaxing Nanhu Airport, in Zhejiang Province.
Participants got an inside view of one of China's newest aviation and logistics hubs, opened at the end of 2025 and developed by YTO Express Group to connect China with the world. The event brought together around 30 participants among CCIC members and partners.
Through presentations and a guided tour, participants gained insights into the airport’s advanced facilities and technological innovations in aviation and logistics. They also learned about its expanding passenger network, connecting Jiaxing with Beijing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Changchun, as well as the launch of 28 international cargo routes with YTO Express. These routes support YTO’s overseas expansion strategy, targeting key markets in Europe, North America and Asia, and its ambition to build a global express and logistics supply chain network. By 2030, the airport is expected to handle 1.8 million passengers and 1.1 million metric tons of cargo annually.
The afternoon session opened with the welcome remarks from YTO SKYHUB representatives, followed by a guided tour of the hub. Participants got a first-hand look at the airport's operations, its cargo handling facilities and the technology behind its logistics network.
A Q&A session followed, in which CCIC member companies asked YTO SKYHUB representatives questions about the new airport. They explored what its services, routes and logistics solutions could mean for their own businesses and supply chains.
The day closed with the CCIC Jiaxing Networking Dinner at the Landison Nanhu Hotel, where guests connected with one another and shared their impressions of the visit.
The visit was a valuable chance to build dialogue between Italian and Chinese businesses, share insights into the future of aviation and logistics, and create opportunities for future collaboration in the Yangtze River Delta region.
