On Friday, March 13, 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), together with its Food and Beverage Working Group (FBWG) and Mechanical Engineering Working Group (MEWG), successfully organized the event “Discover Beretta: A Journey Through the Factory” in Ma’anshan, China.
The visit offered participants a valuable opportunity to step inside the production facilities of Fratelli Beretta, a family-owned Italian company founded in 1812 and widely recognized for its high-quality cured meats, including prosciutto, salami, and other traditional Italian cold cuts.
Ms. Cristina Corsini, Member of the CCIC Board, delivered the welcome speech, while Mr. Orlando Daga introduced Fratelli Beretta and shared insights into the company’s history, development, and operations.
The afternoon began with a guided tour of Beretta’s factory, allowing attendees to gain first-hand insight into the company’s production process and quality standards. Following the visit, representatives from CCIC, the Working Groups, and Beretta delivered opening remarks and further introduced the company’s presence and development in the Chinese market.
A key highlight of the event was the sharing session on “How to Trade Italian Consumer Products in the Chinese Market,” which explored practical perspectives on market access, distribution, and opportunities for Italian brands in China. Participants also engaged in a Q&A discussion, exchanging ideas and experiences related to the sector.
The event concluded with a tasting session of Beretta products and an open networking moment, providing members with the opportunity to connect with company representatives and fellow participants in an informal setting.
CCIC sincerely thanks Fratelli Beretta for hosting this visit and sharing its experience, and we appreciate the active participation of all members who joined the event.
