The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), with the support of the Suzhou Foreign Affairs Office, successfully held the Seminar on Work Permits for Foreign Employees in China on Friday, 16 October 2026, at the CCIC Suzhou Office.
The seminar opened with welcome remarks by Ms. Elisa Qiu, Jiangsu Area Manager of CCIC, who highlighted the importance of staying informed about the latest developments in China's policies and regulations concerning foreign employees, enabling companies to keep up to date with relevant requirements and procedures.
Mr. Zhaoning from the Talent Division of the Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau then provided a detailed overview of the work permit system for foreign nationals in China, explaining the different categories of work permits and relevant application procedures.
