The 2026 Spring Gala Dinner hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) was held in Guangzhou.
The event gathered business leaders, chamber members, partners, and distinguished guests from Italian and Chinese institutions, all coming together to celebrate friendship, cultural exchange, and the profound partnership between Italy and China.
The 2026 CCIC Spring Gala Dinner was proceeded by the GBA Business Roundtable. Together, the two events brought together over 400 guests from the Italian and Chinese business communities.
Supported by the Embassy of Italy to the P.R.C., the Consulate General of Italy in Guangzhou, the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao, the evening became a key gathering for Italy–China business exchange and cultural dialogue in South China.
The Gala was officially opened by Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman of the CCIC, H.E. Massimo Ambrosetti, Ambassador of Italy to the P.R.C. and Li Hongzhi, Vice President of CCPIT Guangzhou. Elisa Messina, Vice Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing, delivered a speech introducing the highlights of tonight’s cultural performances, which were generously supported by the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing.
Guests enjoyed an authentic Italian dinner curated by Chef Giancarlo Di Francesco, accompanied by selected fine wines and Italian beverages.
The evening featured impressive cross-cultural performances, including classical vocal pieces by mezzo-soprano Valentina Volpe Andreazza, accompanied by pianist Stefano Salvatori, and a traditional Chinese guzheng show by Lü Chunqi, fully integrating Italian and Chinese artistic charm.
A special video was also screened to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the sister-city relations between Bari and Guangzhou.
Two rounds of lucky draws brought pleasant surprises to the guests, with generous prizes including motorcycles, sports cameras, furniture and round-trip air tickets between China and Italy
The success of the 2026 Spring Gala Dinner would not have been possible without the generous support of all sponsors. CCIC sincerely thanks VFS Global, Fiera Del Levante, EssilorLuxottica, and all other sponsors, partners, performers and guests for their contributions.
CCIC will continue to serve as a bridge for Italy–China economic and cultural cooperation and looks forward to more exchanges and cooperation in the future.
