The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) is pleased to inform you that the 4th China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation Forum will take place on June 25-26, 2026, in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
This nationally significant event is held under the guidance of the National Energy Administration of China (NEA) and organized by the China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation (CEEI) Office. The Italian Embassy in China and relevant Italian authorities have been invited to participate and strongly encourage the presence of a representative group of Italian energy sector companies at the Forum.
Why participate?
The Forum has a strong track record of generating extensive matchmaking opportunities and concrete project outcomes. The 2026 edition will further strengthen bilateral dialogue, expand cooperation areas, support technology deployment, and accelerate project implementation under a framework of high-level openness and cooperation.
Event Highlights
Main Forum (June 25th): Featuring VIP meetings, academician reports on new-type power grids, a cooperation achievement publishing ceremony, and a senior dialogue on green electricity, green certificates, and power market reform.
National Theme Days & Sub-forums (June 25th): Including dedicated sessions on Hydrogen & Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Smart Energy, Energy Storage, Wind Power, Biomass Energy, and a special Iceland National Day.
Site Visits (June 26th): Choose from three technical routes covering hydrogen/SAF facilities, research institutes, and clean energy industrial parks.
The Forum will be held at the Tianfu International Convention Center in Chengdu. Approximately 200 delegates from Chinese and European energy authorities, enterprises, industry associations, and research institutions are expected to attend.
Exhibition Information
A compact exhibition will run concurrently with the Forum, where participating companies may apply for booths. A total of 15 booths are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each booth is fully equipped with display boards, electronic screens, tables and other necessary amenities, with a rental fee of 15,000 RMB. Please note that booth applications from start-up companies will not be accepted.
