The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) is pleased to extend to you an invitation to “Chongqing Visit by Eurasian Enterprises”, the event themed Chongqing: A New Journey for Eurasian Connectivity. Jointly initiated by the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and CITIC Group, and co‑hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology together with China CITIC Bank Chongqing Branch, this event will be held in Chongqing on 10‑11 November 2026.
As CITIC Group continues to build its “Coming to China, CITIC is your partner” service platform, this event serves as a high‑level bridge connecting global enterprises with Chinese local governments and leading industries. Chongqing—the only municipality directly under the Central Government in central‑western China—is striving to build itself into a key strategic pivot for the development of western China in the new era and a comprehensive hub for inland opening‑up. It boasts solid foundations in advanced manufacturing, convenient cross‑border logistics supported by the New International Land‑Sea Trade Corridor and the Chongqing‑Xinjiang‑Europe Railway, as well as promising prospects for new‑energy and intelligent manufacturing sectors.
During the visit, participants will have opportunities to engage in high‑level leader meetings, targeted industrial matchmaking, field visits to key industrial parks, and a main industry cooperation conference, with senior officials from the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and CITIC Group in attendance. The program will spotlight Chongqing’s priority sectors including advanced manufacturing, intelligent equipment, new materials, new energy, automotive components, green energy and biomedicine — offering concrete opportunities for project alignment and two‑way investment partnership.
We encourage Italian enterprises to take this opportunity to explore more business opportunities with Chongqing’s government and local industrial leaders, advance the building of Chongqing’s "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system and pursue mutually beneficial development.
