The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) is delighted to invite you to the upcoming seminar, delving into a critical topic for HR, Legal, and Finance professionals - “Retirement Disputes and Risk Mitigation for Over-Age Employment: Legal & Tax Implications” on 22nd April in Tianjin at Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, a landmark venue in the city’s Italian-style district.

About the venue
Nuovo Cinema Paradiso
Nuovo Cinema Paradiso is located in the Italian-style district and is known for its Italian cuisine and cultural fusion. Opened at the end of 2009, it marked its inauguration by inviting renowned director Giuseppe Tornatore and the President of the Venice Film Festival, Marco Müller, to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. It also hosted the “Italian Film Week in Tianjin” in 2009.
Nuovo Cinema Paradiso has welcomed numerous distinguished guests, including senior national and local officials, an admiral of the Italian Navy, the Italian Minister of Economic Development, internationally acclaimed directors such as Giuseppe Tornatore and James Cameron, as well as the Italian Ambassador to China. It was also designated as the official venue for receptions during the World Economic Forum (Summer Davos) in Tianjin in 2010, becoming an important platform for the city’s international exchanges.
On May 11, 2018, with the support of the Italian Embassy in Beijing and the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the inauguration ceremony of the “Casa d’Italia” was held at Nuovo Cinema Paradiso in Tianjin’s Italian district. Between 2019 and 2020, several major side events were organized, including the Italian Fashion and Luxury Culture Week and the China–Italy Economic and Cultural Week, further strengthening exchanges between the two countries.
