Business Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION

Client: Our client is an international companyoperating in the fashion/retail sector, with a strong presence in China and afocus on business development, market growth, and customer-oriented solutions.

Role: The Business Analyst is responsible foranalyzing business performance, market trends, and commercial opportunities tosupport strategic decision-making and business growth in China.

The role involvescollecting and analyzing market information, monitoring business indicators,identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with different teamsto optimize commercial performance.

Report to: General Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Business Performance Analysis

• Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to support decision-making.
• Monitor sales performance, key business indicators, and market trends.
• Identify potential business challenges and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Analyze product performance, market positioning, and competitive landscape.

2. Market Research & Business Development

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Identify market opportunities and provide insights on customer behavior and industry trends.
• Support the development of business strategies and commercial initiatives.
• Monitor changes in the market environment and provide regular updates.

3. Commercial Operations Support

• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize business processes.
• Support planning activities, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Assist in preparing business reports and presentations.
• Provide analytical support for commercial projects and initiatives.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with different departments to ensure alignment on business objectives.
• Support strategic projects and company initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify business opportunities.
• Good understanding of the Chinese market and business environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strategic mindset with attention to detail.
• Fluent Chinese and English communication skills.
