JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be the person responsible for the development and growth of our online sales business and increasing brand awareness in the digital channel, focusing on the emerging local marketplaces.
1. Strategic Leadership & P&L Management
- Drive the comprehensive e-commerce strategy for the 3 brands to accelerate business growth and exceed sales targets.
- Full ownership of the E-commerce P&L, ensuring healthy ROI, efficient customer acquisition costs, and long-term profitability.
- Analyse market trends, competitor moves, and consumer behaviour to identify whitespace opportunities and pivot strategies in real-time.
2. Multi-Channel Ecosystem Excellence
- Oversee daily operations across major marketplaces including Tmall, JD, and VIP, monitoring key metrics such as traffic, conversion, and retention.
- Lead the expansion and optimization of Social Commerce channels, with a specific focus on Redbook (Little Red Book) and Douyin to drive both awareness and sales.
- Manage the WeChat ecosystem, leveraging Mini-Programs and CRM tools to build private domain traffic and enhance customer loyalty.
3. Digital Marketing & Content Innovation
- Oversee a content strategy tailored for each platform (Redbook/TM/JD), ensuring storytelling is aligned with global brand DNA while remaining locally relevant.
- Lead high-impact campaign planning and IP management, coordinating pricing, product selection, and promotional calendars.
- Optimize livestreaming operations, managing relationships with top KOLs/KOCs and MCN agencies to maximize brand visibility.
4. Global & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Global Headquarters to align local e-commerce initiatives with global brand objectives.
- Partner with internal Marketing, Media, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial activities.
5. Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Mentor and scale a multi-brand e-commerce team, fostering a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and innovation.
- Provide clear KPIs and development opportunities to enhance the team’s digital capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above; MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in E-commerce, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role; multi-brand portfolios management is a plus.
- Platform Expertise: Proven track record of success in managing Tmall, JD, Redbook, and WeChat ecosystems.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong financial acumen with a data-driven approach to problem-solving and P&L management.
- Communication: Native-level Mandarin and fluent English are required for effective collaboration with global teams.
- Resilience: Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
