1. Management of Existing Suppliers in China

  • Oversee daily operational management of existing suppliers, including production scheduling, capacity planning, and delivery coordination.
  • Monitor production output, yield rates, shipping timelines, and potential operational risks.
  • Define and implement recovery plans when disruptions occur, in line with supply chain execution best practices.
  • Support supplier quality activities including audits and production process improvement initiatives.

2. Supply Chain Coordination

  • Coordinate production planning between European demand and local Chinese manufacturing.
  • Monitor availability of critical materials and identify potential constraints affecting supply continuity.
  • Support the resolution of production or logistics issues impacting deliveries.

3. Client Relationship Management in China

  • Develop and maintain business relationships with Chinese and international customers based in China.
  • Collect technical requirements and market feedback to support product competitiveness and improvement.
  • Provide commercial support for sales activities, technical meetings, and industry exhibitions.

4. Internal and External Collaboration

  • Coordinate with engineering, quality, logistics, technical and commercial teams across China and Europe.
  • Support quality audits, product validations, and continuous improvement initiatives, including defect analysis, CAPA implementation, and monitoring of quality KPIs in accordance with electronic industry standards.

5. Market Analysis and Supplier Development

  • Monitor technological developments and industry trends in the Shenzhen electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
  • Evaluate potential new suppliers to expand product range, reduce costs, or improve technological capabilities.
  • Support the company’s local strategy for industrial and commercial expansion.


REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory Requirements

  • Chinese nationality (and reside in China).
  • Excellent command of Italian and/or English.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Study experience or academic exchange period in Italy (preferably in Engineering, Economics, or Business).
  • Willingness to travel within China to visit suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of electronics manufacturing processes (electronic components, BOM structure, supplier quality management).
  • Experience in supplier audits, production monitoring, or quality improvement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Problem-solving mindset and strong cross-cultural communication skills.

Additional Information

The position reports functionally to two key roles based in Italy:

  • Commercial Manager – for all activities related to business development, customer management, and commercial support within the Chinese market.
  • Technical Manager – for supplier validation, technical coordination, and product related technical competencies.

Travel Requirement:

  • First month of onboarding to be completed in Italy, with all travel and accommodation expenses fully covered by the company.
  • Domestic travel within China to visit suppliers (20-30%).
  • Occasional business travel to Europe for meetings, supplier audits, and coordination activities with the headquarters – maximum 3 times per year.
