Description

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is looking for a Communications Manager to join its staff at the Beijing headquarters. The successful candidate will be required to manage and coordinate the communications plan of CCIC's offices in China.  

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

•Planning of CCIC digital communication strategy including budget and timing;

•Management of all CCIC offices’ communication plan (social media channels, CCIC website, mass mailing);

•Drafting of news and press releases on institutional meetings, event summaries, launch of new initiatives, etc.;

•Relations with the media, both Italian and Chinese, including organization of interviews with Chamber’s representatives;

•Editing and graphic layout of CCIC publications;

•Organization of promotional campaigns for CCIC events, activities and membership campaigns in coordination with CCIC staff;

•Management of CRM;

•Office management related to coordination with IT supplier, office suppliers order, organization and update of archive and any other tasks the Secretary General might deem to involve him/her into, etc.

•Realization, editing and up-to-date of communication materials and content for the CCIC events, on CCIC Website and CCIC Official WeChat etc.;

•Organization of the planned activities and events (i.e. Beijing Gala Dinner, Assembly meetings, electoral procedures, etc.);

•Organization of activities, including the planning of the project, liaison with suppliers to collect quotations and assess costs proposals, coordination with any third parties involved (PR or production companies; translation agency; companies identified for event gadgets etc.);

•Implement and promptly execute the Information Service, by dispatching information based on enquiries received in a timely manner.

 

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

•Italian National (preferred);

•Bachelor's or Master’s degree (preferred);

•Strong writing/editing skills both in Italian and English;

•Fluent in spoken English;

•Collaborative team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision;

•Able to manage priorities and lead projects end to end;

•Be a strong communicator;

•Critical thinking;

•Good at multi-tasking under pressure;

•Problem solving skills;

•Healthy level of attention to detail;

•Good interpersonal skills;

•Passionate about telling stories;

•Understanding China’s digital communication landscapes;

•Solid media relation and deep understanding of media trends;

•Previous work experience of proven expertise as a journalist (preferred);

•Chinese mandarin (a plus).
