Description
We are seeking, a highly skilled and detail-oriented Consolidation and Reporting Manager to join our finance team in our Hong Kong headquarters. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings of multiple local legal entities in Hong Kong and across the APAC region. The role will play a key part in the preparation of the local consolidated financial statements and will also support budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities in coordination with local teams. Additionally, the role serves as a critical liaison between our regional operations and the parent company in Italy, ensuring alignment with global consolidation processes, management reporting, and financial planning standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly and year-end closing process for all local legal entities under the Hong Kong holding structure.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with group accounting policies and IFRS/local GAAP as applicable.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of financial data to the parent company in Italy for inclusion in the global group consolidation.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the regional finance team and the Italian headquarters on all matters related to financial reporting, group forecasting, and consolidation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including:
- Prior experience in audit (preferably with a Big Four firm)
- Hands-on roles within a group subsidiary reporting to a structured international group
- Strong understanding of consolidated financial statements, intercompany eliminations, and reporting packages.
- Experience with complex financial processes and multi-entity structures.
- Familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-border interactions and convey financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems; experience with consolidation and planning tools is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a strong plus.
- Coordinate with local finance teams (in HK and in the rest of APAC), auditors, and external advisors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring consistency between actuals, budgets, and projections.
- Support continuous improvement and automation of consolidation, reporting, and management control processes.
- Provide financial insights and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making
