Basic Role: Responsible for business intelligence and market analysis, provide market info, monitor competitors figures to Sales manager in order she/he can promptly adjust commercial proposals to customers.

Reporting to: Sales Manager

Main Tasks:

• Collect market information
• Make data analysis
• Follow up with booking trend to enhance space utilization.
• Charge adjustment proposal by market update.
• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders inclusive of Grimaldi Line Management, Grimaldi Customer Service, Overseas commercial depts and sales team to maximize the flow of information and marketing opportunities.
• Deal efficiently and effectively with customer’s problems and enquiries
• Collect and report information about competition activity.
• To project an image of personal professionalism and maintain and protect company’s policies, property, culture, and integrity.

Competencies/Skills

• Strong MS Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word skills essential
• Experience of working within a sales role is essential.
• Travel will be required

Person Specification

• 2-5 yrs experiences in container business
• Bachelor degree or higher education background
• Excellent communication skills in Business Chinese and English
• Experience of working within the shipping industry
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
• Flexibility and willingness to learn
• Ability to work as part of a team and alone
• Ability to prioritize workload with conflicting requests for resources, knowing the difference between important and urgent
