Description
We are currently looking for an Intern, who should be on-site in our Shanghai office for a period no shorter than six months.
The internship will cover various areas:
- Taxation - National and international tax planning; VAT and indirect taxes; Personal tax optimization; M&A taxation; Corporate tax assistance and consultancy; Tax due diligence; Transfer pricing; Import and export customs duties.
- Corporate - Financial consultancy services; National and foreign investment assistance; Business valuation; Mergers and acquisitions; Market entry strategy; Joint venture establishment and Foreign Direct Investment assistance.
- Accounting - Bookkeeping and administrative support; Financial statements and reports; Internal audit and accounting control; Administrative, accounting, and personnel management; Financial due diligence; Business planning assistance.
- Economics - Preparation of economic reports on various topics such as economic performance and structure of cities and provinces in China and ASEAN countries; Double Taxation Agreements, Free Trade Agreements (such as RCEP), and other economic and fiscal agreements signed in the Asian region (ASEAN, China, and other jurisdictions).
Learning Objectives
At the end of the internship, the intern will acquire basic knowledge in taxation, corporate law, and the Asian market. The intern will also develop problem-solving skills, teamwork, market research abilities, and the capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
