The Procurement Assistant will support the procurement team in managing and purchasing refractory materials in China. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and a good understanding of the Chinese refractory materials market.

Main Responsibilities:
• Assist in procurement processes and negotiations with suppliers.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and delivery standards.
• Prepare and manage purchasing documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices.
• Maintain supplier databases and purchase records.
• Analyze market trends for improvement and savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with quality and logistics teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare periodic reports on purchasing activities and inventory.

Essential Qualifications:
•Fluent knowledge of Mandarin Chinese and English.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
•Excellent organizational and time management skills.
•Willingness to travel to China and abroad.

•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
•Curiosity and strong motivation to learn.
