You will join the China Velo Sales Team in a dynamic, multicultural and international environment and achieve business goals in accordance to the Company needs and the strategic guidelines defined with Pirelli in China.
This role is critical to achieve revenues and volume, gain market shares with implementing strategic sales planning, business relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth and maintain competitive advantages.
The position is based in Shanghai or other first-tier cities in China.
YOUR CORE ACTIVITIES
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Implement sales strategies to achieve targets, identify new business opportunities, and adjust strategies based on market trends and competitor activities.
- Market Analysis and Reporting: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, analyse sales data, and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives. Coordinate with international teams to share best practices and leverage global resources.
- Market Development: Identify and develop new market segments, establish relationships with industry stakeholders, and develop market entry strategies for new regions within Mainland China. Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote Pirelli bicycle tires.
- Marketing Channel Development: Aid in developing marketing channels for both trade and consumer customers. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement marketing campaigns.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and marketing.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Experience in the bicycle industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with relevant digital platforms.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Customer Relationship Management: Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Market Insight: Deep understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to inform sales and marketing strategies.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and supply chain, to achieve common goals.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Reporting Structure:
- Reporting to the APAC Velo Manager and the local Moto Business Unit Manager.
