Prof. Giulio Tremonti, President of the Foreign and European Affairs Committee of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, led a parliamentary delegation on an official mission to Beijing.
The delegation included Honourable Members Bergamini, Calovini, and Provenzano. During the visit, discussions focused on key aspects of the bilateral relationship betweenhashtag#Italyandhashtag#China, as well as major multilateral challenges, including ongoing conflicts and strains on the international order. The meetings involved high-level representatives from China’s leading institutions.
As part of the programme, the Committee also met with theItalian Chamber of Commerce in China CCIC, represented by Vice-President for Northern ChinaAndrea Crociand Secretary GeneralFabrizio Costa. They provided an overview of the Chamber’s role in supporting Italian companies operating in China, particularly in facilitating business relations, navigating local regulations, and fostering economic cooperation between the two countries.
