CCIC at the Italian Senate: Strengthening Economic Dialogue

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) was honored to present its Annual Report on economic opportunities at the Italian Senate in Rome, during a high-level institutional visit aimed at reinforcing bilateral economic relations between Italy and China.

The delegation of CCIC Chairman Lorenzo Riccardi and CCIC Board Member Alessandro Petrini met with Hon. Andrea Volpi, member of the Parliament, Senator Antonella Zedda, member of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Senate, and Senator Marco Silvestroni, Secretary of the Senate Presidential Office, to discuss the evolving landscape of Italian investments in China and the strategic sectors offering new growth potential.

The meetings focused on how Italian enterprises can leverage their presence in the Chinese market through innovation, sustainability, and deeper integration with local supply chains. CCIC presented key insights from its latest research, highlighting opportunities in key economic sectors.

Discussions also addressed the importance of institutional coordination in supporting SMEs, facilitating market access, and promoting Made in Italy as a driver of high-quality bilateral trade.
