CCIC Meets the Delegation from Rome in Suzhou

On Friday, January 23rd, 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) was pleased to welcome a delegation from Rome at the CCIC Suzhou Office. Representing CCIC was Mr. Davide Angelibusi, who introduced the Chamber and its activities. The visiting delegation was led by Mr. Fabrizio Santori, Secretary of the Chamber of the Capitoline Assembly Vice President of the Roma Capitale Commission, and Ms. Francesca Leoncini, Member of the Capitolino Italia Viva Group and Vice Chairman of the Budget Commitee.

During the meeting, Ms. Tiziana Primori, President of FICO Eataly World, and Ms. Cristina Corsini exchanged views on topics of mutual interest, with particular attention to opportunities and challenges in the food market and discussed prospects for future cooperation.

Following the meeting, the delegation also visited the Yangtze River Delta Overseas Investment Promotion Centre. Suzhou continues to be a vibrant centre for business and innovation, featuring high-tech industries, modern logistics, and cultural enterprises. During the visit, the delegation learned about the strengths of Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) and the supportive policies for foreign enterprises, highlighting the city as an attractive destination for Italian companies seeking to expand their presence in China.
