On the morning of August 19th, Mr. Hong Yongqing, Senior Advisor Chief Representative of the Global Chamber of Commerce Federation, led a delegation to visit the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) Shanghai Office. Mattia Marino, CCIC Vice President in East China, Fabio Giacopello, CCIC Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG) Coordinator, and Wei Chen, CCIC Public Affairs Manager attended and received the delegation.
The two sides held a working meeting and had in-depth exchanges on topics such as bilateral investment between China and Italy, enterprise economic and trade docking, intellectual property services, and industry resource sharing, exploring the establishment of a normalized cooperation mechanism.
During the meeting, both sides introduced their respective platform resources, service networks, and key work directions. Hong Yongqing introduced the Global Chamber of Commerce Federation's assistance in cross-border docking between Chinese and foreign enterprises, overseas risk protection, international economic and trade forum organization, and other related businesses, relying on the network of chambers of commerce in the two places to empower small and medium-sized enterprises to expand their markets in both directions. He invited the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China to participate in the “Pujiang Intellectual Property Forum” held in Shanghai every May. And he proposed to receive the Italian Chamber of Commerce members and visit local technology enterprises in Zhangjiang High Tech Development Zone in Pudong New Area, where the Federation is located, in October this year.
Mattia Marino introduced the CCIC current development status of Italian enterprises in China, business policy consultation, industry promotion activities, and other service contents. CCIC is looking forward to deepening cooperation with the Global Chamber of Commerce Federation, jointly building a communication bridge between Chinese and Italian enterprises, and promoting practical cooperation in technology, trade, and investment fields. He was very pleased to accept the invitation from the federation.
Both parties agree to maintain regular communication in the future, explore various cooperation models such as joint activities, information exchange, and mutual recommendation of enterprises, serve the economic and trade exchanges between China and Italy, and assist in the high-quality cooperation and development of Chinese and foreign enterprises.
