Brussels – Lorenzo Riccardi, Chairman of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC), met with Davide Cucino, Past President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, and presented the historical and editorial project “The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China: Documents from the Historical-Diplomatic Archive of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1903–1924)”.
CCIC Past President Davide Cucino played an important role in the modern phase if the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, and also published articles on the history of economic relations Italy-China during various years.
Chairman Riccardi underlined the importance of historical documentation in understanding Italy’s early institutional presence in China and the strategic role played by the Chamber in facilitating economic and commercial relations between the two countries.
