On May 21, 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) participated in the 2026 Suzhou Global Investment Promotion Conference and the Asia-Pacific Business Dialogue held at the Suzhou Jinji Lake International Convention Center.

The events gathered representatives from government institutions, international business organizations, chambers of commerce, and enterprises to exchange views on investment cooperation, industrial development, and emerging opportunities for economic collaboration across the Asia-Pacific region. Discussions focused on digital and green transformation, industrial and supply chain resilience, and the promotion of mutually beneficial international cooperation.

CCIC was represented by Vice President Mr. Lorenzo Bali and Mr. Mattia Marino, together with Board Members Mr. Davide AngelibusiMr. Fabrizio FerrariMr. Ke Da, and Ms. Elisa Qiu, Jiangsu Area Manager of CCIC. Their participation reflected the Chamber’s continued commitment to supporting Italian companies in China and strengthening dialogue between Italian enterprises and local institutions.

Following the conference, Mr. Lorenzo Bali attended a meeting with Mr. Fan Bo, Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee.

As one of China’s leading hubs for industry and innovation, Suzhou continues to offer significant opportunities for foreign investors and international businesses. Through its participation in these activities, CCIC further reinforced its role as a bridge between the Italian business community and local institutions, supporting long-term cooperation and business exchange between Italy and China.
