Secure your place at Notte Italiana 2026, the signature event organized by the Italian Chamber of Commerce (CCIC), bringing the best of Italy together for one unforgettable evening.
On 21 November, the China World Summit Wing Hotel in Beijing will set the stage for a celebration of Italian excellence, culture, business, and entertainment.
A special highlight of this year's edition will be the participation of Regione Puglia, bringing a taste of Southern Italy to Beijing through traditional cultural performances and, above all, an exclusive culinary experience led by renowned Puglian Michelin-starred Chef Angelo Sabatelli, who will showcase the region's authentic flavours, rich culinary heritage and gastronomic excellence.
Built around the theme, “Italy. Made to be Discovered”, the evening is supported by the Embassy of Italy in Beijing and the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing.
PUGLIA | Immerse Yourself in Wonder
Authentic and contemporary, Puglia is a mosaic of art, nature, and architecture, where 900 kilometres of coastline between the Adriatic and the Ionian seas meet crystal-clear waters, vineyards and olive groves, historic villages and five UNESCO sites, including the iconic Trulli and the traditional Masserie. With 23 million visitors in 2025 and 18 million in the first eight months of 2026, it is one of Italy’s most sought-after destinations. From stays in a masseria to cycling, trekking and a journey through local food and wine, Puglia invites you to slow down and enjoy a warm hospitality rooted in tradition and a strong sense of identity.

ANGELO SABATELLI | Guest Chef from Puglia
With over three decades in the kitchen, Angelo Sabatelli has cooked everywhere from Rome to Shanghai. He started in professional kitchens at just 13 and earned a Michelin star in Rome at only 23. His journey took him across the world, from Jakarta and Hong Kong to Shanghai, where he turned the Ritz-Carlton’s Italian restaurant into the city’s best within a year, and on to the opening teams of Ritz-Carlton Doha, Ritz-Carlton Jakarta and Bulgari Milano, before a stint at the One&Only Le Touessrok resort in Mauritius.
Back in his native Puglia, after leading the kitchen at Borgo Egnazia, Chef Sabatelli opened his own restaurant in Putignano, now among the region’s finest and a champion of contemporary cuisine, with numerous awards and a Michelin star held since 2013. At Trattoria Filomena, he brings the same passion to a vibrant, fresh and varied Italian cuisine that everyone can enjoy.
