CCIC at the Opening Ceremony of OMET Suzhou

​On September 9, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) was honored to attend the opening ceremony of OMET (Suzhou) Mechanical Technology Co., Ltd., marking an important milestone in OMET’s development and presence in Suzhou.


The ceremony brought together representatives from the Italian business community and local institutions to celebrate the establishment of OMET’s new facility and look ahead to the company’s next chapter in China.


Opening remarks were delivered by Fabio Valle, General Manager of OMET China, and Antonio Bartesaghi, CEO of OMET Group, who shared their vision for OMET’s continued development and growth in the Chinese market.

The event was honored by the presence of Stefania Mortelliti, Commercial Consul of the Consulate General of Italy in Shanghai, Lorenzo Bali, Vice President of CCIC and Suzhou Area, and Mattia Marino, Vice President of CCIC and Shanghai Area, together with business partners, clients and guests from the local community.

Following the ceremony, guests were invited to visit OMET’s new factory and showroom, providing an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of the company’s production capabilities, technologies and solutions, as well as its operations and development in Suzhou.  

With a long-standing presence in the international market, OMET continues to strengthen its activities in China. The opening of the Suzhou facility represents another step in the Group’s commitment to serving its customers locally, strengthening its presence in the Chinese market and creating new opportunities for future development.


For CCIC, it was a pleasure to join OMET in celebrating this important milestone and to witness another example of Italian industrial excellence taking root and growing in China.
