The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) took part in the celebrations organized by Valvitalia to mark the 20th anniversary of the Group's presence in China and the groundbreaking ceremony for its new manufacturing facility in Wujiang, Jiangsu Province.
The event celebrated two decades of the company's operations in the country while marking the beginning of a new phase of its development in the Chinese market.
CCIC was represented by Mattia Marino, Vice President for Shanghai, and Antonella Fontanarosa, General Manager. They joined representatives of Italian and Chinese institutions, the business community, and local authorities in celebrating this important milestone. The event also saw the participation of: Tiziana D'Angelo, Consul General of Italy in Shanghai, Stefania Mortelliti, Vice Consul General of Italy in Shanghai, and Donato Morea, Head of APAC Chief Representative of SACE.
Representing Valvitalia, Salvatore Ruggeri, Founder and Chairman, Andrea Forzi, CEO, Massimiliano Ruggeri, Executive Vice Chairman, and Generoso Polito, General Manager of the Valves & Systems Division.
During the event, Valvitalia officially announced the launch of construction works for its new manufacturing facility in Wujiang. With an investment exceeding €10 million, the new plant will cover more than 16,000 square meters and will become the Group's main production hub in China. Scheduled for completion in the second half of 2027, the facility will further strengthen Valvitalia's industrial presence in the country and enhance its ability to support growth across the Asian market.
CCIC's participation reflects the Chamber's ongoing commitment to supporting Italian companies operating in China and promoting the excellence of Italian businesses that continue to invest and expand their presence in the Chinese market.
