The Italian Chamber of Commerce in China (CCIC) participated in the opening ceremony of VEA Group in Suzhou, marking an important step in the company’s development in the Chinese market.
The ceremony opened with remarks by Andrea Pietrobon, General Manager of VEA Group, who welcomed guests and expressed confidence in the company’s future growth in China. The event was also attended by Umberto Doglioni Majer, CEO of VEA Group; Lorenzo Bali, CCIC Board Member; and Fang Yong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Wujiang District Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of WETDZ, and Deputy Director of the Administrative Committee of WETDZ.
The celebration continued with a traditional lion dance, symbolising prosperity and success, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially inaugurate the new facilities. Guests then gathered for a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
Following the ceremony, guests were invited to tour the factory and showroom, gaining a closer look at the company’s operations, production environment, and product display. The event concluded with a networking session, offering an opportunity for exchange among representatives from different organisations and industries.
