The monthly CICC Board Meeting was held in Chongqing on October 29th 2021.
The meeting was attended in person by Mr. Paolo Bazzoni, CICC Chairman, Mr. Lorenzo Riccardi, CICC Treasurer, Mr. Gianluca Luisi, Board Member in Chongqing, Mr. Giacomo Bove, Board Member in Suzhou, Mr. Raphael Paul Cooper, Board Member in Guangzhou, Mr. Ermanno Vitali, Board Member in Shanghai, and Mrs. Renata Pavlov, States' Representative at EUCCC; and remotely by Mr. Gianpaolo Bruno, Italian Trade Commissioner and Coordinator of ITA Offices in China and Mongolia, Mr. Matteo Tanteri, CICC Vice Chairman in Beijing, Mr. Valtero Canepa, CICC Vice Chairman in Shanghai, Mr. Massimiliano Guelfo, CICC Vice Chairman in Guangzhou, Mrs. Sarah Orlando, Board member in Beijing, Mr. Antonio Farese, Board member in Shanghai, Mr. Mauro Maggioni, board member in Shanghai, and Ms. Giulia Gallarati, CICC Secretary General.
The Vice Consul of Italy in Chongqing, Mrs. Adriana Lori, on behalf of the Consul General of Italy in Chongqing Mr. Guido Bilancini, delivered a welcome speech, underlining the importance of the CICC's support for Italian companies in southwest China.
Furthermore, Mrs. Renata Pavlov, States' Representative at EUCCC, was invited to present to the CICC Board the "European Business in China Position Paper", an important publication that illustrates both the depth of the challenges faced by European companies in China and their commitment to improving the business environment.
Later in the evening, starting from 7:30 pm, a Business Networking was held at the Maven Bar of Intercontinental Raffles City. It was attended by all the board members in Chongqing, as well as the institutional and business community in the area. During the evening, CICC Intellectual Property Working Group (IPWG) was introduced by its coordinator Mr. Carlo Geremia.
