Call for Exhibitors | 2024 3rd GIPExpo, Sept 20-22, Luzhou

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is pleased to inform you that the 3rd GIPExpo (Global Geographical Indications Product Expo) will be held in Luzhou (Sichuan Province) from September 20th to 22th. For this occasion, the CICC, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing, is launching a campaign to collect expressions of interest in participating in the 3rd GIPExpo. If at least 4 companies express interest in participating, an "Italian Pavilion" will be set up at the exhibition.

Aiming to advance the trading of Geographical Indication Products, technical exchange, cultural interaction and investment promotion, the 3rd GIPExpo is hosted by the Luzhou Municipal People’s Government of Sichuan Province, supported by the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, the Foreign Affairs Office of Sichuan Province, the Administration for Market Regulation of Sichuan Province.

TERMS AND CONDITION TO PARTICIPATE

In order to promote Italian agricultural products, we are sending out the call for companies, local importers and distributors of Italian agricultural products LIMITED ONLY to the Italian products listed in the Annex IV (preferred) and Annex VI of the EU-China Agreement on GI Product protection and Cooperation signed in Bruxelles in 2020, the organizers reserve the right to request exhibitors to provide a list of products for final approval.

COST

The participation to the Italian Pavilion is free of charge.
All costs and expenses associated with products, shipping and delivery will be the sole responsibility of the exhibiting company.
