2022 China-Italy Design Forum – Yunnan Edition, Kunming, September 8

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) is glad to inform you that the 2022 China-Italy Design Forum – Yunnan Edition, jointly organized by Easyhome Top Design Center, Jazza Home and 【中意你|Kunming-Italia】 and co-organized by the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and the Yunnan Interior Decoration Association Design Committee, with the support of the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing, will be officially held on September 8th in Park 1903 Castle Auditorium in Kunming from 1:30 - 6:00 pm. 

For the 2022 China-Italy Design Forum – Yunnan Edition, we aim at focusing on the theme “Local cultures and folk customs for a sustainable development in design”.

We are going to carry out a dialogue around this topic from different perspectives by inviting designers from China and Italy. Listening to the diverse presentations and discussions on this topic between the Chinese and Italian designers, from the perspectives of life aesthetics, design concepts, home beauty, living environment, building materials etc., we hope to achieve a newer and deeper understanding of our life spaces, as well as to share possibilities and ideas for sustainable development of our life spaces.

The organizers are honored to have among the guests six designers who have gained great achievements in the field of design, among them the internationally renowned designer Ben Wu and architect Ziyu Zhuang, who are going to be on the same stage for the first time in Yunnan.

The famous architect Stefano Boeri, father of the "Vertical Forest", and architect Mauricio Cardenas Laverde, bamboo architecture pioneer in Italy and one of the "Ambassadors of Italian Design", who could not be present on site due to prevention and control measures, will also participate to the event with a video.

Furthermore, we will have the pleasure of having among our guests also Yibo Xu, National first-class certified architect, Chinese partner & GM of Stefano Boeri Architetti, MOMO, Space Designer, Founder and Chief Architect of UD Studio, Marco De Battista, Italian Architect and Designer specialised in Green Building Design and Engineering, and Stefano Piontini, Vudafieri Saverino Partners Shanghai Office GM & Partner.
