About the speakers:

 

Mr. Carlo Diego D’Andrea

Chairman, European Chamber, Shanghai Chapter and Founding Partner and Managing Director at D'Andrea & Partners

Degree in Law at the Universita’ degli Studi in Teramo (Italy), Master post Lauream in Corporate Advisor at LUISS Rome, Chinese Diploma at Nanjing Normal University, Admitted to the Italian Bar Association. Mr. D’Andrea arrived in Chine in 2005 and began his career in one of the most important Italian law firm in Nanjing. Since a few years ago Mr. D’Andrea has been leading his own company in Shanghai – D’Andrea&Partners – a boutique law firm that has become a point of reference as well as a well-established entity in the international legal profession. D’Andrea&Partners serves foreign as well as Chinese companies with the ambition to globalize themselves in a worldwide economy while focusing on Asia and Europe. Mr. D’Andrea, Attorney at law, is fluent in Italian (mother tongue), English, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. He joined the board of the Shanghai Chapter of the European Chamber in 2014 and since May 2017 he is the Chairman of the Shanghai Board.

 

Mrs. Sara Marchetta​

Partner – Chiomenti

Mrs. Sara Marchetta joined the firm in 2008, became a partner in 2011 and since then she has been the Beijing Resident Partner of the Firm. From 1997 to 2008 she was a partner of Birindelli & Associati in Beijing. Mrs. Sara Marchetta mainly provides assistance to Chinese and Italian and clients in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, cross border contracts (joint Ventures, technology transfers) and other transactional matters. She was involved in the assistance for the major Chinese investments into Italy and she regularly advises a number of Italian MNCs in their cross-border investments into China, including investment agreements, corporate governance and compliance matters.

 

Mrs. Xue Hui Daniela

Senior Associate at Pirola Advisory China 

Mrs. Xue Hui (Daniela) is a Senior Associate at Pirola Advisory China a member firm of Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati. Daniela is a Chinese qualified lawyer and has two master degrees respectively in Corporate law and Society and Institutions of Contemporary China, from the University of Roma Tre. Prior to joining Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati in 2011, Ms. Xue was in charge of the Investment Desk of the Italian Trade Commission in Shanghai, where she assisted dozens of Italian investors on their investment projects in China. Mrs. Xue Hui professional areas include Foreign Direct Investments, M&A, Chinese Corporate and Commercial Law, Chinese Labor Law, corporate restructuring and legal regulatory compliance. Mrs. Xue is fluent in Italian and English and she regularly advises some of the largest European and Italian companies on their China related matters.
