CALL FOR SPEAKER – Seminar “Individual Income Tax Law” - December 13th Shanghai

Dear Members and Friends,

The China-Italy Chamber of Commerce is glad to invite you to the Seminar "Individual Income Tax Law" which will be held on 13th December in Shanghai.

The PRC government, last August issued reforms for China Individual Income Tax (IIT), which will impact individuals and enterprises – both on a financial as well as an administrative level.

This issuance of the new IIT law has been a vital step of the PRC IIT reform.

This seminar will interpret the key points of the new IIT implementation rules and the significant changes and impact that the new rules will bring to enterprises and employees.

CICC is looking for speakers with experience and/or academic background in the field related to the topic of discussion:

-The new law including tax rates, expense deductions and how to calculate bonuses paid after year end;
-Implications for expats versus local employees;
-Potential impacts of new tax reform on both enterprise and individual level.

The speakers will also share advice on strategies to cope with the major changes.

Evaluation Criteria

The selection of the speaker will be made according to the content relevant to the seminar and/or for the topics proposed.
CICC will give priority to its Members and will select the first submitted proposal that will meet the standards indicated.
If no applications are submitted by its Members, CICC has the right to select the most appropriate application submitted by one of the non-member companies, giving priority to the “partners” of the Chamber first.

The Speaker shall be excluded from the tendering:

In case of non-conformity with the hereby open call for speakers;
In case of submitting false data;
Late submission.

Please note, the speaker shall not promote personal material throughout the course of the seminar.
